Is it really so hard to find a DJ in Boston for $1000??...... I thought this would be easy peasy!

My cousin had someone from Get Down Tonight for $1200 for 4 or 5 hours I think.  I wouldn't go with the one she had but there are 2 others that I've heard good things about.

Try DJ Shyne (Jeff Mader) from ECF Entertainment. We paid $1100 for 5.5 hours and we booked him through an agent (CZone) so I know they got some of that $$

bostondj.com  (dan mcarthy) is $1000 i think and they get good reviews

No.  I am using Aaron Topfer (paid in full in advance) for just under $1K.

We're using DJ John Cristoferi for 5 hours under 1K.

Bob Priestly (AAA Weddings) was just under $1000 for 5hr.

We are using erilouboston's friend and DJ, DJ JT Stevens, he is under 1K as well.

We hired MixTape Entertainment. They are pretty new to the business, and the owners are friends of our friend.  THey have DJ'd a few functions we have gone to, and were good.  We're paying $700 for 4 hours

We are using Curtis Knight Entertainment and they are under $1000!

We also used Get Down Tonight Entertainment- our DJ was Jeff Stone and I was thrilled with him.  I think we paid $1200 from 3pm to midnight?  Loved him and would highly recommend.
