Help with favors!

I was planning on doing chocolate truffle favors from truffle trolley for the wedding, but we ordered samples of the truffles and both FI and I didn't like them!  Too sweet for us!  So now i have no backup plan!

I'd really like an edible favor, but it needs to be no more than $2 per person.  I wish we could do Godiva chocolate favors, but at $4 each that's too expensive!  Anyone have any good, cheap ideas???

Why doesn't Hershey's do custom colored kisses anymore?  Those would be perfect.

Not sure if you're still interested in truffles, but we got ours from Dan's Chocolates (info in bio under Paper/DIY) and they were absolutely delicious.

Keep in mind- something that's too sweet for you, may not be too sweet for your guests. I know I can't eat too much frosting because it's super sweet- but I know TONS of people who eat JUST the frosting! So if you have any extra... maybe have a friend or family member taste test them?

We ordered our chocolate favors from Harbor Sweets.  We did two per person and I think the total price was under $2/person.  They are located in Salem, MA but you can also purchase them online.

I agree with having other people try the candy. If a few friends/family all agree they are good, then I would just go with that so you can cross it off your list and move on to something else to stress about!
Michaels sells the stickers to put on the bottom of Kisses if you want to do them yourself or you can pay a lot of money for theweddingchannel.com and other sites to do it for you- they also have hersheys minatures that are personalized.
What about solid colored m&m's? They are about $8 for 7oz bag so they aren't cheap either.
    Jordan almonds come colored...
There are tons of candy sites and a bunch of them let you search by color...  What color are you trying to do?

Make sure once you find what you want, google that and find where else sells them. I found my favor boxes on tons of sites from $0.25 to $1.50 each! Unbelieveable! You just have to spend some time looking.
