NWR news! good and bad :)

So... I have been going crazy trying to find a full time summer law clerk position....

I interviewed for two jobs. One was perfect because it was downtown and 5 blocks from FH's work. The other was perfect because it was 6 minutes from our venue and I really really liked the atmosphere more there.

Well- I got turned down for the one near the venue today :( He had great things to say but hired someone with more experience in that area of law.

BUT- I just got hired by the firm near FH. So yay! I feel SO relieved. My first exam is tomorrow- this has to be a positive omen.....

    Thanks. There is a GREAT coffee shop in post office square that we will both be able to stop at on our way in in the mornings. It's a good thing I think.. it wasn't what I was expecting this summer but I am very excited.

    Yay!  Congratulations!  :)

    FYI: If you are working near State Street--a geat place for lunch is Aristo Cafe (it's where FinagleABagel used to be, across from Starbucks)--it's a Parisian style cafe with the BEST hot chocolate & yummysandwiches.  A little expensive for everyday (maybe $6-8/sandwich?), but awesome if you want a treat.

    That's great news!  It has been so hard for law students to find positions so that is great that you found one.  I was a law clerk for a firm next to post office square two summers ago, and it was great.  There are a lot of food options in the area.  It's always nice to get a little greenery for 20 minutes during your break too :)
