Recommend your hair stylist and make-up artist

Hi,

Can I get some recommendations on people to do hair and make-up?
We are on a very tight budget, so please keep that in mind.

Thank you!

I worked with Special Event Beauty. I had an awesome time working with them. If you check out their website, their pricing is there.

Also, if you are on a tight budget have you considered calling the local hair schools?

They have alot of students who are very close to graduating and can do great hair.  You could probably get them very cheap.  It wouldnt hurt to have a trial.

I also used SEB, and you get a discount if you have a bunch of people doing each service.

Ditto on Special Event Beauty, however I used Michelle Doucette from Louis Anthony and Kerri Madar from La Novita in Randolph.  As pp you get a discount with the makeup with more pp.

Thanks for the recommendations.  I am getting married in Cambridge.  I could go to the salon if that's cheaper, as long as it's not far away.

What are some hair schools?  I actually don't know of any.

Also, would you mind sharing what you paid, so that I can get an idea of how much it costs?  Thanks.

Blaine, Empire Beauty, Learning Institute for Beauty.

Just google "Beauty Schools near Boston".

I have a friend doing our hair and a family doing our makeup so I am getting a significant discount.

For all the wedding I have been in as a bridesmaid I have paid between 75-200 for hair and 60-100 for makeup.  I have really long hair though.  Bridal hair and makeup is usually more expensive.
