Has anyone had their wedding at the New England Aquarium?  What is pricing like for a plated dinner?  Do they have minimums or rental fees?  I have contacted them for information but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

    the website has  a sample catering menu w/ pricing on there. we are having our event there in july 2012 and everyone has been great to work with. I'd have to revisit my contract but I think the rental is around 3600 although I could be wrong. its such a great space, good luck!!!

    I didn't find anything on the website that had pricing, they have a package catergory but there was no link set up for it.  What is the average pp price?  Are there any F & B minimums?
    I have been trying to explore venues that are different than your traditional ballroom, but we have a tight budget so it has been hard.

    I think our whole thing (open bar for the evening, dinner, apps, dessert, taxes, the whole thing for 120ish a person.  and for a city wedding, that isnt bad...  I dont recall there being a minimum or anything just the rental fee.

    How many people are you having at your wedding?  I have around 120ish, but we only have 10k to spend on ceremony and reception.

    gill00, you're going to have a hard time fitting $120 per person into 10k. You might want to check around outside of the city as prices go down quite a bit.

    Hi,
    We looked at the Aquarium last year but did not pick it.  I was working with Lynne Hughes.  E mail me at an.hand@yah oo . com and I will send you the documents she sent me, I cannot figure out how to attach them here.

     We planned on 200. Four hour rental based on 200 or less is $3,800.00 plus there is a $9,000.00 food and beverage minimum requirement through our in house caterer.

    One other thing I remembered was a $2.50 per person charge for the coat check.
