Bridal Party Entrance Order?

Hi ladies,

I'm trying to write up the programs and realize I have no idea what order the bridal party should enter the ceremony in (and the reception).  I know MOH and BM are last, right before us; and I know who is paired with whom; but no idea when everyone should go in.  Alphabetically?  Closeness to us as a couple?  I'm open to any suggestions!!

Generally I believe the parents enter first (if you are making them part of the processional) The then Guys go in...

The bridesmaids would then go in in which ever order you would like or based on how you have paired them with the groomsmen.

Lastly, The Maid of Honor, then flower girl/ring bearer and then you.

The recessional is when the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen pair off.

With all that said.... you should do whatever you like or what makes you happy. Unless you are getting married in church then they may tell you how they want it done.

Here's what we did, hopefully it helps.

1. programs - we listed BM & GM separately and alphabetically - parents, grandparents and MOH & BM were listed first
2. entrance at church - GM entered first by height & then BM by height then MOH & FG then me
3. exit at the church - obviously we were first out then BM & MOH and we doubled up two GM with one BM, it was just how it worked out (they entered the reception in the same pairings)...it will make sense when you have your rehearsal.

We also got married in a church so it was kind of determined for us, we just had to make the pairings. You should do what ever makes you comfortable and what order you want them in. GL!

Thank you thank you!  We are getting married at a hotel so the pairings are luckily flexible ... those are some good suggestions to keep in mind!
