SO hopefully people know what I'm talking about, but I'm a big fan of "Chinatown" cakes. These are cakes that the frosting is made from a light whipped cream type frosting, and the actual cake is a sponge cake. As the name implies, you can get it at any bakery in Chinatown.

Does anyone know of any wedding cake bakeries NOT in Chinatown that made cakes that aren't dense, heavy, or too sweet? I like the Chinatown cake because it's very light and fluffy, and not too sweet, which is why I don't like the standard fare of cakes usually.
I'm debating doing 2 cakes, 1 Chinatown cake for 1/2 the guests, and a standard buttercream/fondant decorated cake for the other 1/2 of the guests, but I'd like it to be a cake I enjoy as well and would want to eat too! I've got to bridal expos and tried cakes from KM, Jacques, etc and they are just too rich/heavy for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
