Engagement shoot locations in Boston

I am going into Boston next week for an engagement shoot with my photographer (Heather Parker) and since I'm on Nantucket, i ws hoping you ladies might have some cool ideas since i'm less familiar with Boston.
I am open to Boston or Cambridge and am hoping to really do something a bit more creative than Boston Common/Garden or Faneul Hall/State House. I see a lot of that and I am not wanting to do the same thing. Has anyone done their engagement sessions in Beacon Hill or North End or other location? I am thinking that a city look will be better since it is winter rather than doing a nature scene since there are not much leaves/vegetation this time of year. If anyone has links to their epics and where they were I would love to see!

The north end has some great spots!  Also, Beacon Hill has the great streets with the old buildings.

If FI is a sports guy, how about a few by fenway park?

Chinatown also has some great structures.

I bet its gonna be beautiful, just bring a coat!

We did ours in church park and then wandered around the south end.

If you want something more urban looking, I saw some pics at some point that were taken in an abandoned warehouse (I believe off of Harrison) that were awesome.

We did ours inside Fenway Park and it was great, but some of my favs were actually outside of the Park, just hanging out on the street with all the pennants and the personality of Fenway

We live in Charlestown and did ours here. We took pictures in a park, on the waterfront, and in the streets. Feel free to check out my wedding website www.spagnolilane.com to see them.

The Boston Common in the heart of Boston is beautiful. If its cold enough outside, the pond is frozen and people are constantly on it,( also the original Cheers bar from the show is near by). There are about 50 acres, tons of trees and beautiful picture opportunities. I also saw someone mentioned the harbor walk which is very close by so it would be possible to swing by both..

We did ours on the Cape, but I used to live in Beacon Hill, and I would highly recommend that as a truly Boston location.  There are so many beautiful doorways and lamp posts to use in the background ... and Acorn Street would be a gorgeous spot for pictures.  Almost makes me wish I dragged my photographer to Boston rather than us going to her!
