St. Ignatius - BC

Has anyone gotten married here/know of anyone who has? My fiance and I are very close to booking it (we are both BC alums). You have to bring in your own priest (which we want), and no flash photography (not sure if that's an issue with photographers).  Thanks in advance!

    I'm doing pre-cana at BC but that's all I know about it (we are both BC alum too). I just read your proposal story and that's just amazing! I bet photographers are used to rules about flash, etc, though.

    Thanks girls! Yeah - he really thought of everything for the proposal :) And it would be a great cap to the story if we get married there too! We met, got engaged, and married at BC - oh man, that sounds all too cliche! haha.

    haha-- it's your own version of a triple Eagle!
    If you are interested, they are doing precana there the first weekend of May. It's Sat 9-4 and Sun 10-2 or something along those lines. You have to email campus ministry to get the info. FI was happy about doing it at BC since he isn't so into the whole precana thing to begin with. You guys have plenty of time to do that though.

    Haha - FI is going to crack up when I tell him about our own triple Eagle. Thanks for the info on precana. We met with a priest at St. Paul's Parish in Cambridge and were thinking about having our ceremony there, but parking was a major issue. They do a precana that is only one day, so we might do it there, but I'll definitely look into BC, too. Thanks!

    We are getting married there in June 2011. The woman at the church is great to work with so far. We are using the same priest as our friends who were married there in 2008. The rules (photography, flowers, can't get a date during football season until the schedule comes out, etc.) are a little strict, but it's very important to us to get married where we met.

    Just had to chime in, since I'm a BC alum - Kim, I loved your proposal story as well!  The pictures from around BC look great, what a romantic idea!
