Hi Boston Knotties,

I'm getting married next August 2010 and deciding between the Long Wharf Marriot, Charles Hotel and the Omni Parker House. Has anyone been married at any of these places or been to a wedding here and would like to share feedback?

    I don't have much experience with any of these venues, but I did book a room block at the Omni, among two other local hotels.  The Omni offered me the best customer service, by far.  Too bad none of my guests booked with them.  I really like the Omni's rich history, but the shape of the ballroom isn't my cup of tea.

    One of my good friends is getting married at the Long Wharf next June. I went with her to tour the hotel and helped her throughout the contract process. They were nice to work with so far... and they have been very accomodating with her.
    One of the times we went we ate at the Oceana Restaurant there and the food was good.
