Pre-Marital Counseling Question

Hi!

Most of my friends who were married in a church went through a pre-marital counseling program as part of the process. My fiance and I will not be getting married in a church, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of either group programs or marriage counselors who focus on this type of counseling.

Even if you are not getting married in the Church, you can still attend a marriage preparation course.

We're not getting married in the church either. I asked my primary care doctor for a list of recommended family counselors who specilaize in pre marital counseling who are covered by my insurance (FI and I both have the same insurance). We are going to start going next month.

If you attend a church (but aren't getting married there) they may have a prep program you can attend, or the minister could meet with you as a couple.
