reception options for a small wedding??

We're going to have about 60-80 ppl.  How do I go about finding an intimate setting that's elegant and affordable?  We'd prefer and indoor reception.

Thanks!

We're open to anything east of 495 at this point.  We're in the metro-west area around the pike.

I don't know if you'd consider Boston, but we got married at The College Club of Boston with 75 people (they hold a max of 100) and it was the perfect, elegant setting.

Check out eventective.com.  They are a GREAT resource.  Also, if you are thinking of renting out a restaurant, let me know, I have some spreadsheets I can forward with restaurants in the Boston metro area that do events (both in & out of hotels).
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)

I just recommended this site yesterday but the Higgins Armory in Worcester is a fantastic venue. They have some open spaces for dinner and dancing and really cool hallways with awesome armory for the cocktail hour. It's also not very large so its a perfect place for a smaller wedding.

    Here's a few:

Upstairs on the Square: I don't know about the cost pp but it's a lovely space.
    The Codman Estate
Hotel Marlow near the Charles River
Willowdale Estate is beautiful but may be expensive.

    Good luck!

My venue would be perfect for you - Roughwood Estate at Pine Manor College:

Ignore the pics online, they are crappy - we're actually replacing them soon with pictures from my wedding (see tons in my Mrs. bio). It's a huge Georgian style mansion on 60 beautiful acres in Chestnut Hill (easily accessible from the T and all major highways). You can have up to 80 seated with dancing in the Founder's Room (ballroom) - we had 100 inside for a cocktail reception. Ceremonies can be held on the lawn, weather permitting, or in the siting room (Moncrief room). Packages start at $50 per person (doesn't include bar though, that's additional).
