Amazing Boston Caterers?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for amazing caterers in Boston? There are so many--would love any recommendations and to know why you think they're great! Thank you!

Re: Amazing Boston Caterers?

  • Hi!

My wedding hasn't actually happened yet, but Boxer, from Classic Catering (google Classic Catering MA), has been wonderful!  He owns all his own linens and china, so there's no hidden fee thing.  He's really straightforward and fun.  He also genuinely LOVES to cook.

    Look him up!
  • Capers, Tables of Content, The Catererd Affair, Swartz Catering.  There are a ton of fabulous caterers in Boston.

  • Have gone to many, many weddings. Table of Contents served at Endicott Estate. Food was fantastic. Had 3 small passed plates for dinner. Chicken with pears, beef, halibut. All to die for.
  • Vinwood, is my favorite for the Boston, area.

If you're willing to go further from Boston, I would say Tony & Penny's, Buffet Way (they have plated) as well as Seth Mias.

  • Capers Catering out of Stoneham.  The food was fabulous at our tasting and Kristin the coordinator is extremely helpful & responsive.

  • Vinwood...be careful. Went to a wedding. Learned from groom's father that they forgot to bring some apertizers: scallop and bacon and something else. Had a buffet. Food looked good, but had no taste...beef, chicken, pasta...if I remember correctly.

  • Affairs Catering with Mitch has been awesome to work with so far.  We loved his food and that was the main reason we went with him.

    Anniversary
  • Try Ne Me Quitter Pas.  I went to a wedding they catered and it was fantastic.

  • Vinwood - be cautious.  Heard bad stories.  When we looked for a caterer we loved Capers, Tables of Content too
