Mix and match bridesmaid dresses

Just wondering if anyone knew any designers that have a mix and match line for bridesmaid dresses or if I just try and pick a designer and then try and match them all myself. I definatley want all my girls to have different dresses, just wondering the easiest way to do this. And when do you typically need to order bridesmaid dresses?

My girls picked dresses from Dessy. They are pretty reasonably priced (especially if you use one of the online places like Pearl's Place or Netbride).  5 months out is the usual time to order them.

I also added in a month for alterations since my wedding was in June and that's wedding season prime time.

Not sure what your girls budgets are but mine picked Amsale dresses. They are crinkle chiffon and gorgeous, though very pricey. Each girl got to pick which style they liked and they all looked great!

We went with Alfred Angelo.  I picked the color and the ladies got to pick the style that looked the best on each of them.  They LOVE their dresses.

My girls all wore the same color but different dresses from Alfred Angelo.  It worked out really well and they looked amazing.

You can do that with pretty much any bridesmaids line. We did it with Jim Hjelm dresses for my sister's wedding, and J Crew for mine. I would just go to a store with a big selection with a couple of the girls and have them start trying on things they like. They just decide on a color and fabric (and maybe length, depending on your preference) and have them place the order all at once.

I second the Amsale recommendations. My bridesmaids all wore different style Amsale cranberry chiffon dresses. They looked gorgeous.

My bridesmaids are all wearing Aria. The Newbury St location has every style in the line is a wide variety of sizes and colors. It was really great b/c the girls could try on just about anything they liked in their size and were able to see how they would really look. The prices were reasonable for the quality and service.
