Rehearsal Dinner Challenge in Quincy, MA!

Hi Everyone,

I need some rehearsal dinner advice! My fiance's family can't afford to do a big dinner and we already have close to 30 people with immediate fam, bridal party and their spouses. My solution is to have a dinner for 30 people and then a post-dinner drinks and dessert reception for all of the other out-of-towners.

Our guests are staying at the Quincy Marriott but they have not been very helpful with options for using their space. Does anyone have a good rec for a large reception hall space for our post-dinner and drinks?

Also, any good rehearsal dinner spots near Granite Links and the Quincy Marriott?

    We got married at Granite Links and we had our rehearsal dinner at Fox and Hound in Quincy.  I highly recommend them!  You get your own private room, but also they have a very reasonable banquet menu.  My in laws were on a limited budget as well and the set menu was great for a family on a budget.  Good luck!

    Def the Fox and Hound. Really nice room, no room fee. Look at menu online. Great prices and the food is really good. Have gone to 3 functions there. Had Italian Feast, Brunch, Cocktail. All delicious!

    you could try Inn at Bay Pointe, too...they have a function room that holds i think 70 or 80 people and the food is great.  The Waterclub at Marina Bay has a function space as does Port 205 (also at Marina Bay)

    Just have to comment...Inn at Bay Pointe...my family and friends do not care for their food. Went to a function there...hoped it would be good, but it wasn't. Nice water view though.

    Also went to to a rehearsal at Marina Bay...Waterworks...food was really good. Have eaten at Port 365... is good too.

    Maria's on Quincy av in Braintree.. GREAT food and private room avalable for a fee or eat in the main dining room for free
