Hi everyone. Our wedding will take place at a private residence in Rye,NH next June. I'm in the middle of planning the catering. We'll have a fair amount of out-of-towners so I'm thinking a classic clambake/lobster kind of thing might work?
Does anyone have any recommendations for caterers? Especially if they've done the whole clambake thing?
In fact, any good advice if you've done a clambake - did you and your guests enjoy it? My only concern is that it will be messy? But I guess they can pre-crack the claws - I don't want lobster juice flying

Our budget is $60-80/head for 100 people for food - is that way off? I'd really like to have some kind of interesting appetizers but can't think what goes with a clambake - clam chowder? I'd like people to be able to walk around and enjoy the gardens with a cocktail/appetizer. It's going to be pretty relaxed and informal so I could posisbly do lobster rolls if that cuts the budget...
