AW: We've been blogged!

We had our engagement shoot the first Sunday in November, the day it was super warm. I just happened to look at our wonderful photographer's blog (Yay Ciras Photography) and saw the most recent post. Not all the most flattering pictures of me but I do love them and Heather's wonderful descriptions and the fact that she commented on Andrew's "kissy" face, haha!

    Aww, those are great! Too funny - I remember seeing that one pic now from the teaser day - we shot with Heather and Jesse that same day, right after you! Small world :o)

    Ipuella, that's too funny! I obviously recognized your photos as well, but didn't realize that it was from the same day.  I remember Heather and Jesse telling us that they were going to Quincy for their next shoots, how nice was it that we both got warm weather in November? Maybe your photo shoot will be the next post? It was a complete surprise to see our photos up this week.

    Evseidl and Shazzie, thanks for your kind words - it's funny, most of the photos that they picked for the blog are definitely not my favorites (again, not the most flattering) but I do love artsy look to them overall. And the last shot with the reflection of Trinity Church in the Hancock Tower windows is definitely a winner!

    I love the natural look you both have on your faces in every shot--so happy, like you were having the best day of your lives!  :) 

    I agree that the photog's always pick what I think are the least flattering pics, but I realize that they are more interested sometimes in things like how the lighting hits in a particular way or the composition of the shot. 

    For what it's worth--I love your pics, and think you look fabulous & fun!

    Haha, thanks ladies! You've totally alleviated my fears that everyone was being polite in saying that the photos were nice, after all, no one wants to be the person that tells someone that their engagement photos suck! :) I'll have to update the photo in my signature to one of engagement photos we love.
