Unique venue ideas that are budget friendly?

Was wondering if anyone had suggestions on differnet types of venues in the NY metro area (hoboken nj too) that differ from the traditional country club/hall feel.  Are lofts likely to be more expensive?  I have about 200 guests and want dancing and cocktails, no sit down dinner.  Any and all suggestions would be FAB!!!!   Thank you!

P.S.  Manhattan/Bronx are the only boroughs I would consider, no Long Island either to make travel for MANY out of town guests easier.

    Check out Norwood Club and Astor Center (affiliated with Astor Wines). There are also a few restaurants that could work. Take a look at Public, Moran's, PJ Clarke's Sidecar, Thalassa, and Brasserie 8 1/2. Best of luck!
