Hi Fellow Knotties,
Need some opinions here... I'm about 98% sure I'm going to hyphenate my last name and my FI's last name as Mine-His once we're married. I've read online that some other women who are doing this are having their DJ/band leader announce them at their reception by just their first names. That's probably the easiest way to go, and I can live with it, but it doesn't feel quite right.
But Mr. and Mrs. HisLastName isn't gonna happen, and Mrs. Me MyLastName-HisLastName and Mr. Him HisLastName is quite a mouthful and may cause more of a stir than I'd like amongst the many, MANY older guests who'll be there. But then again, maybe they should start getting used to it from the get-go.
Any other hyphenating brides out there have some ideas/words of wisdom???
Thanks!
