A friend of mine is having a DW. Only immediate family is invited. However, there is a short "luncheon" or gathering a week prior to them leaving. I have already purchased a shower gift. What is the etiquette on a second "wedding" gift?

If you weren't invited to the wedding, I'd call the gift a wedding gift and call it a day.
