When I see it I think to myself "I can see the military brides board seeing this as 'their movie'"

I've seen it. I doubt I'll go see it in theaters unless a friend wants someone to go with them. I do want to see it, but it's a wait-for-Netflix type of thing for me.

I don't know.  I have yet to like a Nicholas Sparks story.  I couldn't get through the notebook, I last 45 minutes.  In a walk to remember, I just wanted to see mandy moore die.

Oh...I do love a nice day watching The Notebook. That's a good movie to watch when you're sick or something.

I love The Notebook. I loved A Walk to Remember when I was 16, but now it just makes me laugh. The acting is so awful.

I went and saw the movie JUST BECAUSE IT WAS DIRECT BY JJ ABRAMS....

Man...I was hoping that JJ Abrams' pure level of awesome would make it the bestestest movie ever.

Nope. I hated it.

PS: I love JJ Abrams because of his work on LOST.

I am an avid watcher of LOST and knowing that this is the final season is bittersweet.

Bitter = It's going to be over and I won't have anything left to live for.
Sweet = There's a slight chance that we'll figure out WHAT THE FUUCK IS GOING ON.

Though we probably won't. LOST is tricky like that.

I loved it! There were some little things that kind of threw me off, but overall it was a good story.

As for not liking trek, I already have my comic con tickets!

Btw, one of DH's buddies got dumped by his girlfriend while he was deployed to Iraq. She didn't send him the stereotypical "Dear John" letter though. She sent him THE BOOK. He got the message loud and clear and has vowed that when he goes back home to CO, he is going to burn it on her front lawn. Nice.

I just read it...I love his books.

I really don't see the military brides calling it "their movie." I'll stay around, if you want to know what happens...I'll tell you.

Oh that's okay. I don't care too much.  Just from seeing the commercials, that's what I get from this.  Now mind you, the only time I have seen the brides from the military board is when they came over here and there was a big ol' stink.

I think we're sharing a brain here.  Any reason is good enough to watch a Star Trek movie.

I dont know if I'll see Dear John in theatres, but I'll netflix it.

You have good taste my friend.  I had the flu for a week over the summer and I had a marathon, i watched Motion Picture, Khan, Search for Spock, Undiscovered country, and then first contact.

I love A Walk to Remember.  HATED the Notebook.  Well I should say hate... but, I didn't cry at all, found it to be okay.  And I like Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.  More than Shane West and Mandy Moore.
