Waiting for the sun to get high enough so I can try to paint (again).  I need the humidity level to be low enough to get the tape to stick to the wall.

that does look much less overgrown.  I'm sure it will take a few years before you really have it under control.  There's only so much you can do at once without killing the plants you want to keep.

HA!  First we have to find the plants we want to keep. 

Thankfully we just got solar installed yesterday so know I have a legit reason to thin out about 200 palm trees that we just don't need.  Theree are literally trees growing within trees around here.

H was wise to not teach me how to use the chainsaw ;-)

It's a double edged sword.  You need the tree cover to help keep the house cool, but if you have tree cover, the house can't dry out and you get mold and mildew.
