Bridal Shower

I'm from So. Florida and to attend a bridal shower it's like the norm that if you attend you will pay especially when it's at a restaurant, I just don't know the proper why to put it on the invite.  Any help?

Ew, tacky.   Then again, I'd like a heads up so that I could rsvp 'no'.
