I posted under the recently engaged topic board but I feel like this is better suited here. My FI and I have decided against sending out engagement announcements. We were actually thinking of sending out personalized note cards (that we would write ourselves) strictly to immediate family...mainly aunts and uncles with a wallet sized photo from our engagement photo session. Both of our families love to hang photos on the fridge or on the coffee tables. Is this acceptable?
