Good: My boss is out of the office

Bad:  The military kept me up until 1am last night blowing stuff up.

Max peed on Jeff last night and seems to have regressed to previous levels of submissive peeing.  This is a problem.

No, Kiki, although I felt like it last night.  I live near a military base and apparently last night they felt like it was a good time to play war games.  Or just go blow stuff up.

haha yeah they do that at Aberdeen too and sometimes we can feel/hear it.

Wow, crazy, I had no idea they just randomly did that at bases.  Clearly, I've never lived near one.

I'm not sure if it's so random.  They did it last Thursday night in the same timeframe but at least it was during a thunderstorm and it blended.  My only guess is that they're preparing more soldiers to send to Afghanistan.  It is pretty unusual.

I'm here, not wanting to go to work. I was there for 10 hours yesterday, which isn't awful, but it was 10 hours w/ 7 crying babies. Boo

Amoro-- Thanks for the advice on the Ikea couch.  We went to sit in it last night and it definitely was crap.  Too bad, because the dimensions and color would work perfectly in our man cave. 

Dani-- I woke up in the middle of the night with an allergy attack too.  I'm pissed.  usually my allergies don't start acting up until late august/early september.  Which is why we picked August 1 as our wedding date and not labor day.  Well, I guess I'll be sneezing all through the ceremony!!!! Already put zyrtec and afrin in my bag of things to bring to the wedding

I know!  I'm worried too because we're going camping this weekend, so I would hate to be all sneezy and stuffy.  Your wedding trumps my camping trip though!  :)

My morning commute takes me right by the Pentagon and this morning when I turned the corner there was a giant Chinook helicopter landing in the Pentagon parking lot about 30 yards off the road. It was the strangest thing I've seen in a while. It was also incredibly loud and the highway was full of leaves and branches from nearby trees just blowing around like crazy.

Get the NeilMed nasal wash.  It definitely helps clean out your sinuses and prevents gunk from getting stuck up there and giving you a sinus infection!
