My BM who offered to host my shower was originally planning on having the shower on July 16. She just bought a house and the move-in day is July 15 and she says she needs time to move and set up her new place. Now, she wants to move the shower to the first week of August, which would only be two weeks before the wedding. Is that too close together? Will people be upset "having" to buy two gifts in such a short time period?
