Gift Card Thank You Wording

Hey Ladies,

I was just writing thank you cards for bridal shower gifts. I received a Gift cardto the store we are registered at. I was about to write :

"Thank you so much for the ____ Gift card! We will use it to help purchase remaining items off our registry!"

Which, is the truth. But, As soon as my mind actually said it.... I thought it sounded kind of.. Presumptiuous and rude. Thoughts?

    I would pick one of the gifts and claim you are using it to buy that. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    Yes. I agree..being more general is probably better. Thanks for the advice.

    Haha. On a side note -and not in any way making me kess thankful, I just truly found it funny- i'm pretty sure it's a regifted gift card as it says Merry Christmas! with a holographic Santa. Again, I din't care at all, it just truly makes me laugh!
