Most perfect night ever!  Everything went even better than we had imagined.  We had this idea in our head for a traditional wedding with a twist, and I think it worked perfectly! 

300 guest, everyone dancing and drinking all night. Our 9 piece band played only the songs we requested, and none we didn't!  We were introduced to "can't get enough of your love baby", our first dance was to "maybe i'm amazed" and our father/daughter dance, the band learned a song special for us called "these three words" by stevie wonder.

Instead of a traditional meal, we served family style.  We were a little worried about how it would turn out, but it was awesome!  the food was the best wedding food we'd ever tried.  We had salmon, eggplant rollatinis, pasta with pesto, and green beans, and this beautiful inidividual salad with bib lettuce that you had to cut open to get to alll the greens inside.

Instead of a cake we had a chocolate table.  I ddin't know what to expect, but it was pretty insane:  It honestly looked like you stepped out of the wedding into a chocolate store at the mall; they had that many different types of things.

We didn't run out of alcohol, although we did run out of tequila, and they overpumped the kegs so the beer was too foamy, but that was the only hitch in the whole night.

I loved my dress!  It still was a little big, but I don't thik you can tell in the pictures.  It did give me bruises on my hips from the boning moving around while i was dancing all night.  but, it was the price I paid for beauty!

Our friends surprised us with glow sticks!  after the band's 2nd break they busted them out and it was like we were at a mini concert.  It was fun and I hope our photog got some good action shots.

It was the best night of both our lives. 10 days later, and we're still raving about all the things that were so awesome.

we just got home at 10 am from Vancouver and Victoria. It was perfect.  Vancouver is such a fun city!  and we saw like 20 whales on our whale-watching tour!  Perfect way to end a perfect wedding weekend.

Now I'm dredding going back to work.  Luckily I'm not going back until Wednesday!

Aw!  Great wedding!  And seriously, best wedding I've ever been to was a Jewish one-- SO FUN.  I got to learn the dances and traditions.  BEST.  Headband was beautiful and dress and all that jazz.

Amoro-- all our non-jewish friends were coming up to me during the reception saying how badly they want to have a jewish wedding!  The traditions really are so meaningful, yet joyus!
