Do you need escort cards if you are having a buffet?

If you want to assign people to a certain table, yes.  Or you can just have place cards at the tables.

They're never mandatory, but I would do them. Escort cards are more about making sure people are seated comfortably at a table with people they know or could get along with. They don't really have anything to do with the meal.

I fail to see HOW one gets their food changes anything. That being said, do escort cards. They make things much easier for your guests knowing they have a seat. There are always oddball guests that might not know too many people and making sure they have a table and are comfortable is important.

Roxy that is too funny!! Whit had a dream about me and her going to the Cheesecake factory the other night I had a dream about posting on the knot. It was very real.... you know, literally opening threads, reading real text and answering. It was SO long too.

Me thinks we are all spending to much time here? hahaha

Oh it was horrible! It was like dreaming about work and then going into work in the morning. I pretty much stayed off the knot all day that day.

A friend of mine said she had a dream about waiting in line to return an item. That would suck.
