I live in Florida, my parents live in Massachusetts. My wedding is this June. I found the dress I want on DavidsBridal.com so I called the Davids Bridal in Tampa and they have 1 left in stock that I can try on so I made an appointment. My mother is all mad because she can't be there with me ...she wants me to wait until she comes down to visit in January but 1. I feel like that's kind of waiting too long and 2. There is no guarentee the dress will be in stock then to try on... Keep in mind that my mother and I are not close at all, in fact we don't get along the majority time. When I invited her to my makeup/hair trial over the summer her response was .."why?!?" And then she complained throughout the entire time and looked bored as hell ..kind of ruined it for me.
So I feel bad that I hurt her feelings but she is making me feel awful ...calling me selfish and thoughtless ...I don't think I'm in the wrong here but does anyone have any opinions? btw I am buying my own dress if that makes any difference..
