I'm so very glad it's Friday. I'm going to fly through the day at work today - and then get blasted tonight for the Red Wings game. We're down 3 games to 0 right now and I definitely need to get rowdy tonight.

  I'm assuming hockey is in play-off mode then?  That is the one sport I do not follow at all.

Yup, it's playoff season. We're in to the 2nd round already. We swept Arizona in the first round, but we can't seem to get one up on San Jose. These guys are the bastards who took us out last year so I really hope we can pull something out tonight. Being down 3 games is not a good sign though.

OK gotta get ready for work. I'll try to check in when I get to the office... it had been so long since I logged in from work, I had to remember my password the other day. Which wasn't easy. Haha.

Morning! They finally vacuumed the area around my desk so all remnants of his (guy who sat here before me) gross hair and food crumbs are gone. I can work in peace.

I'm really hoping for nice weather today and tomorrow. That way, H can work and get a lot done so we can hopefully go home to see my family on Sunday.

Good morning!  Yay for Friday!

H and I are working today, then heading up to my ILs tonight.  Mother's Day plans have been alllll over the place, due to the work schedules of my BILs.  We finally worked something out...but now my SIL wants to do something different.  At this point I think I just have to put my foot down and say, this is what we're doing...otherwise I can't see my parents for Mother's Day.

Speaking of hockey!  I am so excited about the Boston Bruins!  I'm sure MA is going to be crazy tonight, it's Game 4 against the Flyers and the Bruins are up 3 - 0!  H is going off the wall about it.

Bay - weren't you the one that you and your IL's planned a cruise and the SIL went trying to change those plans too?  She sounds like she needs a swift kick in the a$$ in the area of, "It's not all about you" if that is the case.  If you weren't the one talking about that, my bad, and carry on.

Good morning! I'm working from home today, so I slept in a bit. I had the worst dream that we were chased by wild African animals and then H and I went to the doctor to figure out my headaches and I had a huge brain tumor. and then I woke up. Ugh.

I am so glad to be here.

My b-party is tonight and I am so very excited. Not one of those million girls rent a bus get drunk nights, but 3 of my friends and I are going to a wine tasting and then out to dinner at my faaaavorite restaurant. Then maybe out to a few bars. Whatever I want to do. Plus FI is our DD and told me that if I throw up he will hold my hair back and then make me queso.

Yeaaaah...that was me.

I guess my BIL has a paper that he thought was due for Monday, and he had to work on it this weekend, so she told us to go ahead and make plans with my MIL, since she and BIL were going to take her out next weekend.  So I canceled the Friday plans with my parents and we're going up tonight, to take MIL out to breakfast tomorrow (she has to work on Saturday night and she didn't want to get up early for brunch on Sunday, and my other BIL and his GF have to work on Sunday morning, so we're doing it Saturday instead).

Last night, SIL sends me an email saying that BIL's paper is due next Monday and that she can host Mother's Day at her house.  MIL will probably end up going there.  But now H and I are going back home to spend Sunday with my mom.  It's just a mess.  I can't stand it when the plans change like four times.

Good morning!

I hashbrowns. It's what I get at Waffle House almost every time I'm there. Depending on how hungry I am determines the size of the hashbrown plate. YUM Breakfast for dinner or lunch is pretty amazing.

So glad it's Friday but at the same time, tomorrow is super busy for FI and I. He has 2 sporting events to cover, 7:30 and 11. Then we're going to a festival in the same county. Then we're going to a friend's graduation from grad school about 1.5 hours away from where we'll be all day. Busy day to say the least. We don't get to see that friend too often so I'm really excited (and his wife is pregnant and I haven't seen her in a few months...more excitement!).

I need some thoughts, prayers, or TK vibes for a friend of mine who is getting married this July. We're both BM for each other. Her dad passed away yesterday completely unexpected. They do not know what happened either and have to do an autopsy. I just hope they'll be able to have some closure about it all. I feel so helpless but I've offered my help and I know I can't force it. I feel like this is a way I can help. Thank you...this post got long. Sorry

LVB that's a scary dream.  Apparently you have too much on your mind and need to relax.  Drink a lot this weekend.

I cry when I throw up, so lets hope that doesn't happen.

Saturday we are going to lunch with the leader of the string quartet we hired. Is that weird? He works with FI's mom at the hospital she works with.. I called him yesterday to set up a meeting to run through details and suggested lunch at a nicer restaurant around here.. then said his wife would be joining us. I think its kind of cute.

So good morning! Now that we're NOT talking about the sport that shall not be named... I'm in a damn fantastic mood today. My pregnancy bloat disappeared and most of my clothes fit again! Except my bras, I had to get new bras. Mr. P seems pleased with that, er, development. I'm excited about the DC GTG tomorrow night! And just the fact that it'll be the weekend. Hooray!

So funny story: a client is disputing a bill. The particular thing he's disputing would mean a reduction in pay for the reporter, so of course I send his complaint to her. She responds and I send her response to him. He responds again, but this time he copies the reporter himself. She didn't realize that email came from him directly and she wrote back with some reeeeeallly unfriendly words. Yeah. This is going to be a super fun clean up for me. Oh well. Better her than me!

I love Friday!

H never wants breakfast for dinner. I suggest it all the time because it's so easy and good, but it's a foreign concept to him and he won't entertain the idea. My H is weird.

I think he was referencing my bridal shower when he got wasted and I made him a disgusting quesadilla out of things we had in our fridge.. mostly laughing cow sundried tomatoe cheese and then some mozzeralla cheese and then salsa. I think he wants to get me back..
