Thank You Note question

FI and I received a wedding gift today. A large group of people went in on it. I'm going to write individual Thank You notes for each person/family, but I'm seeing some of them at my bridal shower this weekend. Can I give them the notes in person, or should I mail them? I will be mailing the notes to those I won't be seeing.

If you're going by etiquette, yes, you should probably mail them. 

But if it were me, I'd just hand them the TY notes.

I would hand deliver them if it were me. I just hand delivered a bunch of save the dates to my roommates. Obviously I'm not mailing those

I would mail them, I don't know why but it just seems like the thing to do.

I'd say mail them, BUT I hand delivered TY notes to my coworkers because I didn't have their addresses.
