first fitting pics - help oops - meant to post on the attire board

Sorry, I thought I was on the Attire board.  Ignore at will.

Okay, this was day two of migraine, so I was a hot sweaty mess and had thrown up in the parking garage on the way ... not my best day.  But I STILL felt beautiful in my dress. I know this dress is not everybody's cup of tea, but I love it.  Right now it is significantly too big.  The poufs will also be tacked down a bit.

For now, the straps are going to be moved further apart so that they are wider.  Should I just remove them?  I am not sure.

Second, yes or no to the beaded applique?

I like the applique, and I think the straps would look nice a bit wider. Yay for finding a dress that makes you feel beautiful!

I think the straps look nice, and agree that they would look better wider. I love your hair pic and veil/flower combo, so I wonder if the applique would clash with that. I think the bodice looks great without it if you are using that veil and flower hairpiece.

Oh, and I don't think the hairpiece+ applique would clash.  I dig it tons.  I'm really bummed with myself for not going after a tulle (?) veil like that, because it was originally what I wanted, but got talked into the traditional style.

I say remove the straps!  You have great shoulders.  Normally I'm anti-strapless because I think it makes a lot of people look like toothpaste being squeezed out of a tube, but it'd look great on you!

I like the hair a lot, very glamourous.

As for the dress: Don't remove the straps, and do add the applique. I too love the feeling of this outfit- you're going to look amazing. Feel free to come back here to whore your pictures when the day is done!
