As we continue to plan, the idea of the larger wedding (150 people) that we started with is losing some of its appeal. As of today, we are exploring the concept of a much smaller event (20 or so people) at a much earlier date (maybe in November of this year).
If we are completely changing everything about the wedding, can we shrink down the wedding party? It was already small- 3 on each side, but if the entire wedding has 20 people at it, won't it be a little strange if 8 of 20 are standing? We are considering just one on each side instead- my sister and his brother.
I get that it would be a friend-ending move to kick someone out of my wedding party. I'm not looking at this as kicking someone out, but if thats how people would take it then I absolutely wouldn't do it.
