Wedding Website

Once I have my wedding website completed what are ways I can share my website with my guests? I wasn't planning on sending save the dates and using the website as a save the date due to money reasons... But how do I get the website info to my guests?

Re: Wedding Website

  • word of mouth, email, facebook... just to name a few :)

maybe make a cute photo with some nice text letting guests know about the website and start forwarding it

[QUOTE]We didn't do STDs and just added the website info to an insert in our invitation package. Ours was on our accommodation card. After the hotel info, we put, "Please visit our wedding website for additional information, maps and directions. You could email it to people if they ask about any travel or specific info. Don't put it on Facebook unless 100% off your friends list will be invited to the wedding. It just invites trouble.

  • I had to send out STDs because the majority of my guests are OOT, and providing the website/ hotel block information with the invitations would have been too late. My hotel blocks are only being held up to one month before the wedding. Which means my guests would need to book their hotels ASAP after receiving the wedding invites.

What do you have on your website? I would spread it via word of mouth, or even personal emails to people if they are travelling to your wedding. But I would be careful about how you spread the word/looking like you're trying to give people registry info if most of your guests are local.
  • I like the idea of inserting the website on an invitation insert. Otherwise, if you choose to let people know via Facebook, you might want to use a private message.
