Do I call it a "civil union" or "commitment ceremony."
Should I stay away from the term "wedding." What makes it legal? The marriage license right? (Not the ceremony in itself.) In my eyes, I’m having a wedding, so can't I use that term?
I have awhile before I need to know for the invitations, but I would like to start spreading the news and create a website for our big day. I need to know a few ways to word it appropriately if I cannot use the term "wedding."
