I am doing one of my last tasks before the wedding- printing escort and place cards. My question is: What is the proper way to address the escort cards? Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, Mr. John Smith and Mrs. Jane Smith. Should I have a separate escort card for children and what is the cutoff for the term child when it comes to etiquette?
It may not be appropriate, but I feel like putting Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and family- because some of them have small children. I don't have a ton a room on these cards and I want people to still be able to read them. What do you think?
{EDIT} Also, did you continue the formality using Mr. and Mrs. ...for the place cards if you had them? or did you just put John Smith, Jane Smith, etc.
