I was just pricing trips to St Petersburg 2 days ago and went on Delta's site and saw this.  Not to mention their air fees were already MORE expensive then every other airline as well.  Fly Southwest, the first 2 bags are free.  This baggage fee thing is so freaking stupid!!!!

I was on delta this week.  There customer service was bad.  I hope they use the extra money for manors classes for them

Then don't plan on flying Qantas.  They have a 15 lb carry on limit.

Yeah, my uncle is a pilot for Delta, and even he says they suck.  That means a lot to me. lol

We flew Delta the year before last to go to Miami.  We had a layover in ATL that was 25 minutes long.  We were in the last gate in C concourse and our connecting flight left from A15.  Needless to say we missed that.  Why would Delta even plan such an impossible thing, nobody could make that flight!!!!  Of course I learned my lesson and pay attention to those sorts of things now. 

It's a good thing traveling is so worth it, because getting there always SUCKS.

For a few years, I always flew Delta when I was going home to see family (FL to IN).  Every.single.time I had a layover in Atlanta on Delta, it was significantly delayed.  I finally got smart and started using Southwest instead.  Delta is ridic.

I guess they don't understand that concept that if the baggage fees were less, then more people would fly on their airline (and they wouldn't need the high fees to make up their losses.)  It's been Southwest only for us for awhile.  Between the rewards points, the free baggage and lower flight cost, it is a no-brainer.
