My fiance's sister wants to invite her new boyfriend AND her best friend to the wedding. We have not sent out invites yet, but are planning for only 60 people. We are also NOT including "and guest" on the invites to avoid unwanted guests. We also left off some of our friends and family to accommodate a smaller guest list. I want to say no because her boyfriend and best friend may finagle their way into family only events, such as the rehearsal dinner, pictures, and post wedding brunch. I am not sure how to approach the subject with her because she already assumes she can bring her boyfriend. She just recently asked my fiance about bringing her best friend. My fiance wants to stay out of the middle. What do I say?
