I attended a bridal shower in July for a very good friend of mine (she is one of my bridesmaids and I am one of hers). I had to drive over an hour to get there. I have yet to see anything resembling a "Thank You" note from this shower. I gave her a beautiful bridal robe from VS that she really wanted. I saw her about a month after the shower and she told me that she lost my gift and that it "probably got lost in the shuffle and got thrown out" SERIOUSLY!! Why would she tell me that if that even is what hapened!? I just think it is terribly rude of a bride to not send out thank you notes within a reasonable time after a shower. If she cant sit down and write out a note to thank her guests she shouldnt be having the event in the first place. AGH! Just needed to rant about that! Thanks for listening.
