Breast lumps? NWR (clearly)

I know it's late for you guys so I'm not sure if anyone is around anyway, but: I have small boobs that are easy to feel rib behind, and I noticed about a month ago (before our trip) that there was a lump in one of them that wasn't there before. Didn't think much of it, and then mentioned it to FI when we returned, who was a little freaked and insisted I get it checked out. I'm quite sure it's nothing- no history of cancer or anything like that in my family, and no real risk factors other than alcohol consumption, but the doctor said I should have an ultrasound just to be safe. I've read that it's highly unlikely to be anything nasty- have many of you experienced this before? Google isn't very reassuring, and between that and my Fi's concern I'm now a little apprehensive, even though I am quite certain that there's nothing to worry about. So please, feel free to share stories about how you've all gone through similar things and the outcomes weren't so bad, so I can sleep well tonight! :P

  • I also got my lumps checked out due to my fiance's concern. Mine were also fibroadenomas...I had a biopsy and an ultrasound. Neither was painful. The most painful part was the mammogram because of the way the mammogram technician handled my boobs! I'm sure you will be fine :)
