how long to get your album?

we chose the photos for our album and placed the order with our photographer 6 months ago. the album is already fully paid for because it was included in the package price with the wedding day photography. i've emailed her to follow up and got no response. before i call and get annoyed i just want to know how long it took to get yours? is 6 months normal?

What does it say in your contract?  I would think that 6 months would be an awful long time to wait to get your pictures, but if that is what you agreed to, then you really can't be annoyed.  I would definitely call the photographer though and find out what is going on.  I've found that email isn't the most effective way of communication when it comes to vendors.

Oh wow! 6 months and no album?? IMO, that is a ridiculously long time. My wedding isn't for a month but I've had my bridal portraits done. I was told it would take about 2 weeks but I got them back after just one. As for the wedding album, my photographer told me it would be a few weeks tops. 6 months is crazy, you should really go read your contract!
