Shoe size dilemma

So I am thinking I going order these shoes (along with a few others) to try and see if they will work with my champagne dress.  My dress is antique style so I am thinking I will really like these.  I also need very little heel.  Basically they only sell them in 7 or 8. I wear a 7.5.  Given the style of the shoe (no strap) which should I go with?  7 so they stay on better?  If I get an 8 is there a good way to add a pad or something to make them fit?  TIA!

ooops- I guess they are only available in 7's in that color.  I can't seem to find them in the champagne color anywhere but on endless.com I guess I will order the 7's and see if they fit.  They have two good reviews, but nothing mentioned about size.

I'm pretty sure endless.com has free return shipping if they don't fit and you need to get a different size.
