RSVP OOPS?!

Ok, so when I picked the verse on the RSVP card I wasn't thinking I guess, and I picked the one that read" Please reply by the date" and then had the line for the name and the number of people coming. There is no attending, not attending line to check. My question is are people who are not attending going to not send it back, since it says to put how many are coming and doesnt give the option to decline or will they put their names and zero. What would you do?I just want to know what to expect. TIA :)

Re: RSVP OOPS?!

  • You're going to have to make phone calls to everyone who doesn't send back a reply.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • I would RSVP with 0 on the line if I weren't attending. But I think a lot of people would just not send it. You'll probably have some calling to do after your RSVP date.
  • I'd put my name and a zero. Seems pretty straight-forward to me.
  • Ours were written that way and guests have figured it out.  There probably will be a small percentage of guests who don't get it and they will be the ones you have to call.  But most will know to write zero if they are not attending.
  • I'd put my name and a zero. Seems pretty straight-forward to me.Same here, especially if you included an SASE. But I would definitely expect to have to call some people as well, or maybe expect a few phone calls from people who may not understand how to fill it out.
  • Thanks girls! I figured most people would put a zero, at least thats what I would do, but I wasnt sure what other people thought.I really wish I had caught that before all our invites were printed.
