  • I have never seen the Groom escort people down the aisle, but I don't think it is necessarily wrong, what does your FI think about this? That is the bigger question.

  • Do you have any siblings who could usher your grandparents and mother? My mother and father both walked me down the aisle so that last one on your list was moot for me. Actually, I also had my grandparents also seated before the ceremony instead of being part of the procession.

  • I've never seen the groom escort that many people.  He's going to be running back and forth quite a bit!  I would try to find other people to escort the grandparents and parents, either groomsmen or ushers.

  • Well this is actually for one of my friends wedding in a few weeks, and I wanted to see if that was too many and I agree, the groom will be running back and forth and cause too much of a 'delay'.  We will figure something out to have some other family escort them down. Thanks!
  • Hmm I have Never seen the groom not at least seat his parents... And the 2 ushers are the brides cousins, the groom has noone close in the wedding, except his groomsmen. So I guess the 2 ushers can just take turns bringing everyone down - except he will seat his parents, I believe that is what he really wnats.
