I looked at your bio and we have practically the same proposal story... DH had me climb from the highest lift at Breckenridge to a peak that leads to bowls. Carrying skis... Saw in your pics that you snowboard, so you might know where I'm talking about. They really made us "work for it," huh?

Ha!  That is totally awesome!  I love Breck.  So beautiful.  If he didn't move to Snowmass Village our #2 pick was Breck.  Were you just on vacation?  I'm sooo jealous of your wedding.  We are getting married in MN because it is easier on everyone else, but I would have loved to have done it in Colorado. They definitely made us work for it!  I remember thinking on hour 6 of the ascent that he better propose to me for going through this.  I almost said something too, but then I figured if I did it wouldn't happen.  He actually didn't even plan on proposing, he said he just saw me sitting there and knew that any woman that would follow him on these insane adventures should be his wife.

We went up there on vacation to ski. DH had been carrying the ring around with him for two months, just waiting for the right time. So he was planning on proposing there. It's nice that you're having your wedding where it's convenient for everyone. My family is all spread out and the two of us were living in different cities, so a DW made sense for us. Good luck with the musician
