His and Hers gifts?

I need some advice about registry etiquette please. I am curious if it is rude to put items on the list that are only for half a couple, like a men's electric razor or a curling iron? I don't think I'd mind if I saw stuff like that on a registry, I was just wondering what others thought?

I don't have a problem as long as the item is only "mostly" for one person. I registered for cutesy cake pans.  He'll eat the sake, but really, the pans are for me. He registered for a staple gun, laser level, and a new rachet set.  He'll use them but maybe he'll build me something using them.
