Today is our 1 year anniversary.  I was all excited because I thought I found DH the perfect gift - I've been waiting 2 weeks to order it today when I got paid - I was planning on getting him (us) tickets to the Transiberian Orchestra, which is in town December 10.  No problem - we're both off and don't have plans.  Yeah.  It occured to me as I was laying down last night that baby is due December 15.  Somehow me thinks it's not such a good idea afterall.

She better not be 2 weeks late!  I am not having a Christmas baby (I will hold it, I swear!).  I am fully convinced that is the reason that my grandmother is such an evil, spiteful, hateful woman - she was born on Christmas day and missed out on a lifetime of birthdays.

I don't think they even let expectant moms go that far past their due date anymore.  It seems like if they go more than a few days past, they induce.  So you should be safe not to have a Christmas baby!

Sorry AC - I've got nothing.  I guess I'm back to getting him a metal detector (he lost his ring in the garden over the summer and hasn't been able to find it.  I said we could just get him a new one, but "it wouldn't be the same.)  Oh well.  Today, he gets a card.
