  • It was +30C a few days this week which is very very unusual.  I think we broke some major records.

  • Yeah, that's crazy for this time of year.  Absolutely crazy.  Summer came late though.  We were still getting snow in may.

  • Alberta can keep the warm weather, Ontario (mostly me) doesnt want it!
  • I like 15-20C.  Anything more and I'm like blah.   Unless I am at the lake or something.

  • I love fall, but it was 35 out this morning.   Too cold, too soon!!!I also stopped at a farm stand on the way home from school and it was packed with apple pickers.  I don't like those mobs at all!

  • Yeah, it's 79 here with 92% humidity (south Louisiana).  And today is relatively cool for us!  We may get some fallish weather at the end of October, maybe.  But we have freakish weather.  Last year, we had a snow day in early December (the first in about 10 years), and my wedding day (December 27) was in the 70s!
  • Well, it's spring here, but the temp has been more like summer the past couple of days- we had about 94F yesterday. It's been super dry though (usually we'll have storms on hot days like that), so it's a little odd. I'm so glad that two weeks ago (aka our wedding) we had lower temps! it was 76 on our wedding day, which was awesome.
  • St. Louis always has goofy weather, but this year has been nuts.  We only had 2 days in the 90s in all of August, that's not normal for here.  So it's kind of been fallish for a while.  Today it's rainy, but overall the weather has been great! Perfect for the outdoor flea market my mom and I went to today :)My favorite fall "thing" is St Louis Bread Co's pink ribbon bagel (Panera for all of you non cool non St. Louisans).  It's the most delicious bagel ever made but they only sell it in October for breast cancer month.  They have a cherry vanilla one out right now that is awfully close, but it's still not pink ribbon.  They actually shape them like ribbons instead of round :)

  • Fall is my favorite season, which is why I'm getting married in October. It's my favorite month. I grew up in upstate NY and my fiance is from Massachusetts, and it's impossible not to like fall in the northeast! However, we live in/are getting married in LA. :-/ It's been 90+ here for over a week. "Indian summer." Yeah right. I'm swealtering. I hope next year is a bit nicer. More in the 75 degree range would be awesome. My mom is in for a shock when she visits next week. Where she lives, summer isn't even this hot. (My vacation to England and Scotland this year was so awesome. It was rainy and 65 degrees - in August. Just what I like!)

  • Actually I think it was 104 at my campus on Tuesday, but that's in the middle of the San Fernando Valley, which is usually 10 degrees hotter than downtown LA and 20 degrees hotter than the beach cities.
