What with theKnot being real life and all, I thought I would clarify something from the lovewant thread. The granite pic I posted isn't a really good representation of blue eyes granite. The samples I've seen are definitely a gray granite with these blue "eyes" that appear and disappear, depending on the angle at which you are looking at the counter. Don't want you to think my taste is stuck back in the 80's.

What stick? Who really cares if I said it looked blue. Thanks for clarifying...what else was I supposed to say? She posted saying she lovewants this countertop, I said it looked blue. Because it does. Other pictures on google images show her description above perfectly.

I looked at a house with blue countertops once.  It's significantly different than peach or pink countertops.  I thought I'd hate it, but it looked really good.
